The area around Villa Olen

Blanes is the southern-most town along the beautiful Costa Brava and was a fishing village in the past. The old town centre is very well preserved and in the neighbouring harbour you can still see the fishermen drying and fixing their fishing nets. Aside from the old town, Blanes also has a newer, tourist-oriented town centre which is a lively bustle during the summer in particular. The many great souvenir shops, restaurants, bars and booming clubs mean people come here from all over! Along the beach you can also visit the boulevard, which is full of fantastic Spanish stalls and where you will definitely be entertained by the many street performers.
