The area around your villa

Tossa de Mar is a lovely Spanish coastal town along the Costa Brava at the Comarca Selva, in the Catalonia region. This is where the magic happens in this area of Spain. The fiery, fierce music and dance (flamenco!), the endless varieties of delicious Tapas, or the untouched rough nature: the greatest beauties Spain has to offer are here in Catalonia along the Costa Brava! The town centre is very lively and bustling. There is an endless supply of shops, bars, cafes and a great variety of restaurants. There are even famous Michelin star restaurants in the area. Tossa de Mar has its weekly market on Thursday mornings. At this market you simply must try some of the local produce, such as walnuts, olives or honey. Aside from this, there are many stalls with clothing and fresh produce around. The coastline of the Costa Brava is surprisingly rough and green, and is only 400m away from your holiday villa. Bring your beach supplies and parasol; you'll be hanging out there a lot! There are also caves to be found in the many bays. A bout tour along this special coast line with its stretched beaches is definitely worth the effort! But there is more than just sun, sea, sand and the nightlife. Fancy a day of no beach but still want the water fun? Then surprise your children with a visit to the fantastic water park Aquadiver in Playa d'Aro. They will have a fantastic time at one of the many rides, such as the wave pool, the water slides, the kamikazes, or the river rapids... Or take a cultural trip to the trendy metropolis of Barcelona. Visit the beautiful stadium of FC Barcelona, the imposing Camp Nou. The kids can even take pictures with one of their favourite players. With the city itself also has a lot to offer, stroll down the lovely boulevard La Ramblas for example, or check out the amazing cathedral La Sagrada Familia. You won't know where to look. At the Plaça Reial, one of Barcelona's most beautiful squares, you can eat the most delicious paella on the cheap! Yes, the Costa Brava has something to offer for everyone.
